With just under 3 weeks to go, our 2023 Books Forever Appeal is ramping up. From signed copies of new titles to hundreds of comic books, the variety of books coming through our doors has been wonderful.

Our Books Forever project helps transform the lives of local children through reading. Books change lives – books can inspire, encourage imagination and creativity, and help improve reading skills. We want to ensure that children can access books even when their families may be struggling.

The books you donate are distributed via our Books Roadshows in Manchester and Salford schools and via our Family Basics project throughout the year.

In 2022, we were able to distribute over 20,000 books to children through our Book Roadshows in local schools.
